Peter Brian Gabriel (Chobham, Surrey Anglia, 1950. február 13.) négyszeres Grammy-díjas angol zenész, zeneszerző.

Mint a progresszív rock zenét játszó Genesis együttes énekese, fuvolistája és ütőhangszerese vált ismertté, majd sikeres szólókarrierbe kezdett, mostanában mint világzenei felvételek kiadója és támogatója, valamint a zene digitális terjesztési módszereinek úttörő használója került a figyelem középpontjába. Ezen felül részt vesz különféle humanitárius tevékenységekben.

1989-ben megjelentette a Passiont, a Martin Scorsese Jézus utolsó megkísértése (The Last Temptation of Christ) című filmjéhez készült filmzenei albumot. Az album sok tekintetben világzenei munkájának tetőpontja. Ezzel a munkájával Gabriel átvehette első Grammy díját, a Best New Age Performance kategóriában.
