A Jethro Tull 1974-ben eredetileg egy dupla albumot szeretett volna megjelentetni, amely egy tervezett film zenéjét tartalmazta volna.
A szatirikus film humorügyi szakértője a Monty Python-os John Cleese lett volna, de a film elkészítésére nem találtak filmstúdiót.

Szinte kimondani is hihetetlen, de a legendás Jethro Tull társasága már a 40. születésnapját ünnepli a ’War Child’ című lemezének. Ha pedig egy legendás progresszív rock zenekar készül valamit felújítva újra kiadni, akkor ott szinte biztos, hogy a Porcupine Tree szellemi atyja, azaz Steven Wilson neve is felmerül.

Bár ez már nem újdonság a Jethro Tull életében, azért érdemes mindenképpen megemlíteni, hogy a brit zseni korábban a King Crimson, a Gentle Giant és az Emerson, Lake and Palmer klasszikusainak újrakeverésén is dolgozott.

Az újrakiadáson a ’War Child’ 5.1-es mixe mellett az eredeti keverés is megtalálható egy 80-as oldalas booklet különlegesség mellett.

Az anyag – teljes nevén ’War Child: The 40th Anniversary Theatre Edition’ – 2CD/2DVD formában 2014. november 24-én látott napvilágot.
